Ride smart. Ride safe.

Before you head out, take a moment to review these tips to help keep our trails, streets, and shared spaces safe and enjoyable for all.

Before you go

  • Helmets are not provided, but highly recommended for all riders.
  • Plan your route before you start. Routes and designated riding areas are available in the app.
  • Stick to approved trails and roadways. Riding is not allowed on downtown sidewalks, City Hall property, or skate parks.

While you’re riding

  • Ride responsibly and obey all traffic laws for safe operation.
  • Follow posted speed limits. The maximum speed is 20 km/h unless otherwise posted.
  • Ride solo. e-Scooters are designed for one rider only and are not designed to carry passengers.

Share the trail

  • Stay alert and be aware of others around you.
  • Slow down when needed and pass with care. Use your bell to inform others when you intend to pass.
  • Be courteous, everyone is out to enjoy our parks and trails.

When you’re done

  • Park your e-scooter in a safe, designated location.
  • Make sure your scooter is clear of vehicles, accessible parking areas, bike paths, and other trail users.

Have fun, ride responsibly, and enjoy the journey!
